Lophius was first summoned just before the Seven Inches Of Satanic Panic release, and was originally summoned by Papa Nihil as an Earth ghoul to help with the expected tours and popularity of Ghost and the Ministry. When things failed to take off quite how everyone expected, Loph was sent back to the Pit.
They were re-summoned in 2013 by Papa Secondo with special rites performed to turn them into a water ghoul. This process was excrutiating for Lophius, and left them somewhat traumatized. When they made it to Earth this time, they found themselves different - fin ears, glowing freckles, and eyes that are hypersensitive to the light of anything but their occasionally biolumiscent tail bulb. Now they wear glasses to prevent severe migraines, and while they're not exactly avoided while on tour, it's rare anyone makes a massive effort to talk to them outside of things for the tour itself. It remains to be seen how exactly the feel about this fact.

Venai is a newer ghoul, summoned by Perpetua when he was a cardinal to help him become Papa. Ven's a sweetheart and is widely adored across the Ministry. People go to her for a variety of things but the main consensus is that she's got her shit solidly together—the truth, of course, is that she's regularly surviving on a cobbled-together Excel formula and is one OS update away from everything crashing down around her.
She dreams of finding her True Mate, more than anything—she wants to find a nice ghoulette and live happily ever after. She was almost hoping that Deia could be that one, or maybe even another of Perpetua's ghoulettes, but after witnessing soke of Deia's...extracurricular activities, now she mostly worries that Deia will make her part of the fun.

Deia was summoned by Perpetua when he was a Cardinal, and has toured with Ghost many times as she's most useful there—she's bright and sunshiney, and many view her as little more than a ball of rainbows and sunshine. She doesn't mind this, and is actually quite friendly and outgoing. She's not ever really cruel, and enjoys being there with a hug and tea whenever someone's feeling homesick or under the weather, but she also makes no effort to hide the less sweet side of herself.
The Ministry has yet to find out about her hobbies—or if they have, they've yet to call her out on it. She frequently disappears into the night while on tour, hurting and sometimes killing people at each place they venture. She has a particular fondness for arson and knives, and a taste for blood that can't ever quite be sated. With rumors about how evil and terrible Perpetua's reign as Papa will be, Deia has high hopes that this will be the most fun she's had yet.
Still, she would be quite loving, were she given the option.

Believed by most everyone else to simply a notoriously shy ghoul that keeps to themselves, the reality is that Jezzie is an angel on a mission — infiltrate the Ministry and steer the lost flock back to the light of God. They've completed the first part of this, and continue to do so. Things went sideways quickly, though, because Jezzie's always been a bit too curious for their own good—something's that got them in trouble many times up top. It was inevitable that they'd become curious about the way things work in the Ministry—the way everyone is encouraged to be themselves and explore whatever may make them happy entices them in a way that threatens their very nature.
It all was going fine until the murders of Papas I - III. Jezzie didn't think far enough ahead, underestimated how much the Lord Below would care about the lost Emeritii. It's a stroke of luck—if you can call it that—that Orion's focus has shifted from investigating and ridding the Ministry of murderers and angels into showing Jezzie exactly what they're missing.

Orion is one of the original Generals of Hell's forces—a Hellhound through and through. She fought alongside Lucifer after His Fall, and remains true to His cause. As such, when He needed someone to investigate the murder of three of his mortal mouthpieces, Orion was quick to volunteer.
Upon arriving, she immediately caught the scent of something Holy on the grounds—and assumed this was the cause of the homicides. He followed it straight to the infirmary, and wasn't at all fooled by Jezzie's glamour.
The obsession was almost instant.
She has a long history of obsession, as well—obsessing over battle strategy, puzzles, conspiracies, all sorts of things. This tendency to obsess does leak over onto people, routinely without regard for them. She's quite charismatic and oozes sex appeal, so people get drawn in and almost seem to drown in the attention and corruption he brings along with the focus. She doesn't care at all who gets hurt in the process of getting what she wants, and this is unlikely to change.
Especially now that he has Jezzie, and a new focus: soak up that delicious Divinity and corrupt it, so that Jezzie finally Falls. They have many ways of doing this, but their favorite is sex.
